Portfolio Preparation Autumn 2025/2026

This course is designed for prospective 3rd-level students who are considering a course for which a Portfolio is mandatory. The Portfolio Preparation Course will run from October 2025 - February 2026.

Tuesday evening classes are 7:00am - 9:30pm.

Wednesday evening classes are 7:00am - 9:30pm.

Saturday morning classes are 9.30am-12.30pm.

Course Description

This course is designed for prospective 3rd level students who are considering a course for which a Portfolio is mandatory. A high proportion of students in this class will be applying for CAO college entry in 2026. The objectives are to learn how to construct projects from concept to completion, how to use research notebooks, process images and develop their ideas through 2D, 3D and colour. Students will learn how to create a relevant, personal and individual comprehensive Portfolio. A home study programme will be an integral part of the course.
